Ear wax is a natural, protective substance that helps protect the ear canal from dust, debris, and infections. Too much ear wax, causes hearing loss, which can rapidly affect your childs learning and development. We offer children’s ear wax removal in London, in the comfort of your own home. Our ENT doctor, Dr. Rampuri, has performed over 2000 home visit treating children with impacted ear wax.
While routine ear wax often clears itself naturally, some children experience symptoms that indicate a build‑up. These can include:
Reduced hearing or difficulty hearing clearly
Ear fullness or discomfort
Tugging or scratching at the ears
Irritability, especially during play or bedtime
Repeated ear infections or blocked hearing tests
In young children, impacted ear wax can interfere with speech development, concentration at school, and general comfort. Early assessment and safe treatment can help reduce these effects and restore normal hearing.
As a specialist mobile ear wax removal clinic in London, Auris Ear Care provides dedicated treatments for children and adults alike. Our child‑focused approach combines professional expertise with a comfortable experience designed to put both parents and children at ease.
If you’re concerned about your child’s hearing or suspect ear wax is causing symptoms, we’re here to help.
At Auris Ear Care, we specialise exclusively in mobile ear wax removal – bringing expert care directly to your home anywhere in London. We do not offer clinic appointments, as our service is designed to provide convenient, child-friendly ear care in familiar, stress-free environments.
Led by Dr Riaz Rampuri, our team also supports children in alternative locations when needed, including schools, hospitals, hotels, offices, and care homes – ensuring flexibility for every family.

At Auris Ear Care, we understand that children can be nervous or uncomfortable during ear treatment. That’s why our clinicians are experienced in providing a calm, reassuring environment for children’s ear wax removal. We use safe, non‑invasive techniques such as:
Microsuction – a gentle, precise method that does not involve water pressure
Visual inspection with magnification – ensuring we only remove excess wax
Child‑friendly communication – keeping the experience positive and stress‑free
Microsuction is especially suitable for children because it is controlled, quick, and can be adapted for smaller ear canals. It is widely recognised as a safe method for paediatric ear wax removal when performed by trained professionals.
We understand that ear discomfort can strike at any time – especially for children. That’s why we offer emergency ear wax removal for children across London and the Home Counties, available between 7:00pm and 7:00am daily.
Emergency appointments are designed for children experiencing sudden ear pain, significant discomfort, or situations where urgent care is needed, such as travelling the next day or pre-scheduled medical appointments.
An additional fee of £175 applies to out-of-hours emergency visits, in addition to the standard treatment cost.
If your child is in pain or showing signs of a blocked ear, we’re here to help – even at short notice.
Ear infections are common in children, especially after colds, swimming, or flights. At Auris Ear Care, we provide safe, fast, and effective ear infection treatment for children in the comfort of your own home. Whether your child is experiencing pain, discharge, reduced hearing, or signs of otitis externa (swimmer’s ear), our experienced clinicians can assess, diagnose, and recommend appropriate care. We offer guidance on managing symptoms and, where necessary, can liaise with your GP or ENT for further treatment.
It’s not uncommon for children to insert small objects into their ears – such as beads, food, or bits of toys. If this happens, do not attempt to remove the object at home, as this can cause further damage or push it deeper. At Auris Ear Care, we specialise in gentle foreign body removal from children’s ears, using safe, precise tools and techniques. Our mobile service means your child can be treated in a familiar setting, helping reduce anxiety and ensure a calm experience.
Since 2018, families across London have trusted Auris Ear Care for safe, gentle ear wax removal for children. Our five-star reviews reflect the care, patience, and professionalism we bring to every child’s appointment.
